How to contribute to the site.
Saving your memories for the future
Like the Mickleton Community Archive Project itself, this website aims to be interactive, and has been designed to help you add your memories, your knowledge, or your comments and criticisms! You can write an entire article or photo gallery, or add comments to one of the existing pages. This will make it a true community site, building up a shared record of village history.
We want you to add your words and photos to this site. Just contact us on our email address. You’ll be guided through the process of how to contribute.
What could you add?
•old photos or other scanned images of Mickleton (we can help with scanning if you want – just contact us)
•a new digital photo recording some aspect of the village today
•memories of life in the village
•information about some aspect of the village
•additional information or comments on any of the existing webpages
It’s so easy!
•Create a rough draft or test page
•Contact by email or the message board on the site
•Submit your words and photos to our editors for publishing
Terms and conditions
•Text submitted to the site may be sub-edited for the sake of clarity or readability.
•Images submitted to the site may be cropped or digitally enhanced (for example, to improve contrast).
• Mickleton Community Archive is under no obligation to publish any text or photos submitted to the site.
• Mickleton Community Archive may reject material on the grounds of copyright infringement, offensiveness or other legal considerations.
• Mickleton Community Archive cannot accept contributions of a commercial, marketing or advertising nature. We will, however, accept editorial content from commercial organisations (for example, the memories of a shop-owner).
