In 1980 Stratford upon Avon Herald advertised Richmond House for Sale at a price of £85,000. It was described as an elegant, Cotswold residence standing in 1/2 an acre with a lovely walled garden. This was prior to the house being listed in 1985.

Owned by the Struthers. The garages stood on the High Street in the 1970s-80s. David Struther bought the garage from Peter Smith in 1972. In 1988 the site was demolished to make way for Galveston Grange.

The Village Hall has always been used for dances. This one is a school disco. Note that the stage is still in place and the lines for badminton are marked on the wooden floor. On the photo are Fred Byrd, Lesley Smith, Jo Tudor and Paul Hopkins
