The main hall was virtually rebuilt, with a new gas fired central heating system replacing the inefficient oil fired system, complete re-wiring throughout, a suspended ceiling to improve sound and energy efficiency and the floor extended and resurfaced.
The hall went through a major refurbishment in 2003/04. The main hall was virtually rebuilt. A new entrance lobby, toilet block and coffee lounge were added to the existing building.
The Coffee lounge was added and is regularly used for meetings and coffee mornings.

The Village Hall has always been used for dances. This one is a school disco. Note that the stage is still in place and the lines for badminton are marked on the wooden floor. On the photo are Fred Byrd, Lesley Smith, Jo Tudor and Paul Hopkins
