Seat outside the Methodist Chapel dedicated to Audrey Heap, who died in 2007 at the age of 99. She had been a member of the Chapel's Women's Fellowship for many years.
The Hedgehog bus outside the Butcher's Arms. On 22nd July 2008, the bus toured the village as a publicity exercise to make people aware of its services and to try to recruit new drivers.

The main hall was virtually rebuilt, with a new gas fired central heating system replacing the inefficient oil fired system, complete re-wiring throughout, a suspended ceiling to improve sound and energy efficiency and the floor extended and resurfaced.
The hall went through a major refurbishment in 2003/04. The main hall was virtually rebuilt. A new entrance lobby, toilet block and coffee lounge were added to the existing building.
The Coffee lounge was added and is regularly used for meetings and coffee mornings.
