Seat outside the Methodist Chapel dedicated to Audrey Heap, who died in 2007 at the age of 99. She had been a member of the Chapel's Women's Fellowship for many years.

This lovely carving is on top of the gravestone which marks the grave of It lies in the oldest part of the churchyard.
The index to the original slide collection gives the additional information that this was now [1993?] called The Fellowship and that the Chapel Preacher was Mr Dodds.
The bells were rung as part of the village's celebration of Queen Elizabeth 11's Silver Jubilee. Ringers identified as, L-R: Graham Mills, Martin Butt, Harry Wright, Ron Gilkes, Michael Fairfax, Ron ?, Francis Powell.
In 1954 the bells were sent to John Taylors's bell foundry at Loughborough, Leicestershire for re-tuning and re-hanging on ball bearings in a partly new frame. They were removed after Easter and were re-dedicated by the Bishop of Gloucester at the Harvest Thanksgiving service on 15th October. The work cost about £1000 and was raised by ...
Originally this was the front of the vicarage and the front door was where the bottom centre window is now. It is thought that the change was made in Victorian times and a new entrance with a porch was built on to the front.
We have no date for this but possibly during the 1920s.

The index accompanying the slide collection suggested the date of 1909. The name of Rev. Coxwell-Rogers was also included but not identified on the photograph. Perhaps he is the man on the extreme right, middle row, in the straw boater? The group had probably enjoyed tea in the Collett's Tea Gardens behind them.
