There was a cider mill on the corner of Mill Bank ... Old Black & White Cottages The first cottage on the left hand side is now known as Willann. The end part of it was a butcher's shop at one time. The first on the right hand side is called Peddar's Way. Queen's Silver Jubilee Wheelbarrow Race. Alan's Store, the village general store, is in the background. Alan Hutchinson owned Alan's Store; his father, David, owned the Three Ways House Hotel and was responsible for adding the extension.
