This ground was at the rear of the King's Arms public house and on both sides of Church Alley that runs from Church Lane to Lawson Square and Milking Pail Lane.
This was opposite the first Council houses on Granbrook Lane [Road at the time this photograph was taken in 1969] and fronting Stratford Road.
A cabbage grown by Mr Yates of Mickleton. It weighed 12 lbs and measured a yard across. The original slide is of a newspaper cutting (probably from the Evesham Journal) showing the cabbage being held by 12 year old David James of Sedgeberrow.

Helen Dornan is standing at the front door at the side of Tadpole Cottage. Helen lived at Tadpole Cottage from 1999-2002. Tadpole Cottage was built before 1936; it was a worker's cottage for Brain's at Cherry Orchard.
