Arthur Roberts was the village cobbler (1950s) and he worked in this wooden workshop on the High Street. He lived in Granbrook Lane.
The man on the far right, in the bowler hat, is Dr. Johnson
This photograph was taken by David's daughter, Jemma Moore in April 2021, Standing outside the shop are, from left to right, Carl Arnold, Daniel Moore [David's son], David Moore and Kathy Moore [David's wife]. The family had just taken on a second shop at the Fosseway Garden Centre, Moreton in Marsh.

The garage stood on the High Street opposite Milking Pail Lane and where Alveston Grange is now.
The cottage on the left was demolished in about the late 1960s. Miss Emma Bennett, a dressmaker, lived in it during the 1950s. This image appears, originally, to have been on a postcard.
Builder was identified in the index to the original slide collection as Dudley Jarrett.
House on right is Inverlea, home of David Struthers who took this photograph. Next to that is one of the houses in Inverlea Court which were built on the former Struthers's garage premises which David established behind his house in 1962.
Situated on High Street, next to Ivy House and belongs to Stoneleigh. Jim Moss was a village builder and lived at Stoneleigh until his death in 2009.

For a short time Medford House housed a doctor's surgery. This was when Doctor Vandermin lived there.
Owned by the Struthers. The garages stood on the High Street in the 1970s-80s. David Struther bought the garage from Peter Smith in 1972. In 1988 the site was demolished to make way for Galveston Grange.
