Part of the village’s celebration of the marriage of HRH Charles, Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer

Tom Threadgill spotted himself in this picture as a 5 year old boy (red t shirt at the back) but only as a visitor from home in Birmingham. He didn’t  actually live here for another 36 years. He always had a memory of this occasion but had never seen a photo of it. He had the travel sweet tins for ages though- anyone remember them?

Johnny Rodgers remembers his first boss Eddie Riddick ( sat at the first table) as a great guy.
