Christine Coldicott and the Land Army Girls

Christine was a member of the Coldicott family, who were long-standing farming contemporaries and relatives of the Slatters in Mickleton. She was married to Charles ( Charlie) and served as a “Land Girl” in Mickleton during World War II- at this time Medford House was the hostel for the Land Army Girls.She worked mainly on Mickleton Woods Farm ( Peak Farm).
