Club Day Parade
Members of the Mickleton Club gathering before their parade around the village prior to the annual church service
“My uncle told me that Club Day was one of the big events on the Mickleton social calendar. He was only a young lad in the 1930s but he remembered them vividly. According to him the events were held in the field behind the church. He suggested much drink was taken but I cannot confirm or deny. I believe they didn’t resume after WW2 but I don’t know why.” Dave Hands
